PPM's Historic Rolex 24 Victory Marks International Milestone
In a dramatic finish to the 2025 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, Porsche Penske Motorsport secured a historic victory, marking back-to-back wins for the team and completing Nick Tandy's endurance racing "Grand Slam."

Felipe Nasr delivered a masterful final stint, overtaking the sister Porsche and holding off Acura MSR's Tom Blomqvist in the closing minutes. The victory came after BMW's challenge ended when Dries Vanthoor's No. 24 M Hybrid V8 suffered contact-induced bodywork damage following the final restart.
The win holds special significance for multiple drivers. Nick Tandy became the first driver to achieve victories in all four major endurance races: Le Mans 24 Hours, Nurburgring 24 Hours, Spa 24 Hours, and Daytona 24 Hours. For Laurens Vanthoor, it marked his first overall win at Daytona.
Porsche Penske Motorsport dominated the event, leading 517 laps. Team Managing Director Jonathan Diuguid credited their success to a strategic two-car approach, effectively controlling the race while defending against challenges from Acura, BMW, and Cadillac.
The victory continues PPM's momentum from their successful 2024 campaign, where they claimed both the Rolex 24 and season championships. The team now looks ahead to their WEC campaign and the opportunity to achieve another milestone: winning both the Rolex 24 and Le Mans 24 Hours in the same year.
