Felix Roy is shifting his racing strategy in 2025, adding weekly Big Block Modified racing at Albany-Saratoga Speedway to enhance his Super DIRTcar Series performance.

Following defending champion Mat Williamson's successful approach, Roy will transition from racing 358 Modifieds at Autodrome Granby to competing in the 800-horsepower Big Block Modified division on Friday nights at Albany-Saratoga.

The Napierville, Quebec driver has already shown promise at the "Great Race Place," securing podium finishes in both Super DIRTcar Series and DIRTcar 358 Modified Series events over the past two seasons. Roy notes the track's similarities to Quebec circuits as a key factor in his success there.

"We're partnering with Chris Reckner from Elmo's Speed and Supply for our Friday night program," Roy explains. "The track's characteristics really suit my driving style, and we've had consistent success there."

After finishing ninth in the 2024 championship with seven top-10 finishes in 19 races, Roy aims to improve his performance in 2025. His goal is to consistently place in the top 5 and secure a fifth or sixth-place championship finish.

The Super DIRTcar Series championship season begins at New Egypt Speedway on March 29, followed by Can-Am Speedway on April 12. Fans can watch the action live at the track or stream it on DIRTVision.
