Record-Breaking Skeen Claims Pole Position at Sebring TA2 Season Opener
Mike Skeen shattered the Sebring TA2 lap record during qualifying for the 2025 CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series season opener. His No. 48 CUBE 3/Franklin Road/SLR-M1 Chevrolet Camaro clocked an impressive 2m04.196s, surpassing Connor Zilisch's 2024 record of 2m05.062s.

"The qualifying session went great, the car was awesome," Skeen commented. "TeamSLR provided me with a speedy No. 48, and while we had to run more laps than planned on the tires, we're confident about tomorrow's race."
In the Pro/Am Challenge category, Barry Boes secured the fastest time of 2m06.669s in his No. 27 Accio Data/SLR-M1 Chevrolet Camaro.
Fans can watch the race on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. ET through Trans Am's YouTube channel (@TheTransAmSeries) starting at 11:45 a.m. ET. SPEED SPORT 1 will broadcast the race live at 12:00 p.m. ET, with an encore presentation at 8:30 p.m. ET.
