Seth Hammaker Aims to Keep Momentum Rolling After Indianapolis Supercross Victory
Seth Hammaker captured his second career Supercross victory at the East/West Showdown in Indianapolis, marking a significant comeback after nearly four years since his first win in Arlington 2021.
The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider recently relocated from California to Florida's Dog Pound training facility in Dade City, returning to his East Coast roots. This move has helped him focus on improving fundamental techniques and breaking old habits to become a faster, safer rider.
"Everyone has their own style, but with technique and fundamentals there were some things that I was lacking and some things that I needed to work on," Hammaker explained. "In order to be a fast and safe rider, the technique needs to be on point."

After battling injuries throughout his career, Hammaker's primary goal is completing a full season. Currently sitting third in the AMA East Region Supercross standings, just 11 points from the lead, he remains focused on consistency and smart racing.
The Indianapolis victory showcased his improved endurance and mental focus, as he led from the start and maintained composure despite late-race pressure from Tom Vialle.

"This win, after so long and after so many injuries and stuff that I went through to get back to the top, was just a great feeling," Hammaker reflected. The victory also meant a lot to his team, particularly owner Mitch Payton, who has supported him through numerous setbacks since turning pro in 2021.
With several races remaining before the season finale in Salt Lake City on May 10, 2025, Hammaker aims to maintain his momentum while staying healthy. "If the opportunities are available, I'll absolutely take them," he stated, keeping his championship hopes alive.
