Short Track Super Series Opens Northeast Modified Season With Three Winners at Port Royal

110 cars competed at Port Royal Speedway's Speed Showcase featuring the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series on Friday night. The event served as qualifying night for Saturday's $12,000-to-win finale.

Loudon Reimert, Matt Sheppard, and Billy Pauch Jr. won the STSS Modified heat races. The event also featured four Sportsman prelims and two Pro Stock heats.

Modified Heat Winners & Results:

  • Heat 1: Louden Reimert, followed by Peter Britten and Alex Yankowski
  • Heat 2: Matt Sheppard, with Matt Stangle and Brandon Grosso completing the top 3
  • Heat 3: Billy Pauch Jr., ahead of Mike Mahaney and Ryan Watt
