The event includes three 30-lap Features paying $5,000-to-win (Feb. 12-14), culminating in Saturday's 50-lap championship finale with a $7,500 prize. DIRTcar Late Models will compete on February 12, with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series joining for the remaining nights.

Key Storylines:

Mat Williamson seeks his third consecutive Big Gator trophy, which would make him the first driver to achieve this feat since the trophy's introduction in 2012. Williamson enters with impressive statistics: eight wins in 2024, three victories in the last six Big Block Features at Volusia, and 13 consecutive top-10 finishes.

Matt Sheppard approaches a milestone, needing three wins to reach 100 career Series victories. Both Sheppard and Stewart Friesen aim to break the current tie with Brett Hearn for most all-time wins (10) at Volusia.

Rising talents to watch include:

  • Tim Sears Jr.: Making his DIRTcar Nationals debut after a strong 2024 season
  • Jack Lehner: Looking to build on his 2023 runner-up finish
  • Felix Roy: Seeking his first Volusia top-10 finish
  • Alex Payne: 2024 Rookie of the Year pursuing his first gator trophy

Track Details:

  • Location: Volusia Speedway Park (1/2-Mile), Barberville, FL
  • Track Record: 16.794 seconds by Jamie Mills (Feb. 1, 2015)

The event features a strong field of over 40 drivers from across North America, representing some of the best talent in dirt modified racing. Previous Big Gator champions include Mat Williamson (2023-24), Jimmy Phelps (2022), and Larry Wight (2015, 2019-20).
