Thunder on the Hill Racing Series Launches 36th Season with High Limit Sprint Cars at Grandview
The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series kicks off its 36th season at Grandview Speedway with three major events in 2025. Here's what race fans can expect:
Sprint cars racing under floodlights
May 20, 2024 - Rich Mar Florist Kubota High Limit 410 Sprints
- $20,000 to win feature race (35 laps)
- $2,000 bonus for Pennsylvania drivers from Alpine Building Supply
- Gates open 4:30 PM for advance ticket holders, 5:00 PM general admission
- Time trials start at 7 PM, racing at 7:30 PM
- Rain date: May 21
- Tickets: Adults $40, Children 6-11 $20, Under 5 free
June 17 - USAC Non-Wing Sprints Eastern Storm
- Jesse Hockett Classic: 40 laps, $6,000 to win
- 358 Modifieds: 30 laps, $3,000 to win
- $2,000 bonus for first-time Thunder Modified winners
- Levan Machine & Truck Equipment $10,000 Series Point Fund
July 1 - PA 410 Sprints Speed Week Series
- Hodnett Cup: 35 laps, $10,000 to win
- 358 Modifieds: 30 laps, $3,000 to win
- $2,000 bonus for first-time Thunder Modified winners
