In his debut season with the World of Outlaws Late Models, Troutman has already shown promising results. At Volusia Speedway Park's DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals, he secured impressive finishes of sixth and 15th place. His breakthrough moment came during the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals finale, where he led most of the 50-lap main event before finishing second to Jonathan Davenport.
Troutman's preparation for upcoming events includes valuable track time at various venues. He recently competed at Swainsboro Raceway, finishing sixth despite hitting an infield tractor tire while running second. He also gained experience at Senoia Raceway, securing a top-15 finish in his first appearance.
Looking ahead, Troutman plans to race at Boothill Speedway before heading to the Tennessee Tipoff at Smoky Mountain Speedway. His focus remains on building experience at new tracks and developing a comprehensive notebook for future World of Outlaws events.
The partnership with Team22 Motorsports appears to be a perfect fit for both parties, with Troutman expressing his commitment to making this a long-term relationship. His early success and dedication to improvement suggest a promising future in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.
Troutman will continue his rookie campaign at the Tennessee Tipoff at Smoky Mountain Speedway on March 14-15, where he aims to improve upon his previous performances at the newly-reconfigured track.
