Tyler Edwards will continue driving the No. 56 for Mounce/Stout Motorsports in the 2025 Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota. Building on his rookie season experience, Edwards aims to convert his enhanced understanding of car setup and track knowledge into race wins during the upcoming 27-race season.

In 2024, Edwards achieved seven top-10 finishes and a season-best fourth place at Atomic Speedway, securing ninth in the championship standings. His rookie campaign provided valuable experience across various tracks, significantly improving his comfort level in the Midget car.

"I feel like we've learned a lot in the whole year," Edwards said. "Our notebook is thicker for how I like to drive, what I like out of a racecar, and Jay got that figured out. I think we should be competing for wins this year and be in the mix for points."

Team owner Jay Mounce shares Edwards' optimism, drawing from his experience with former driver Chase McDermand, who secured six Series Features victories in 2023. Mounce believes Edwards' increased confidence and track familiarity will translate into podium finishes and potential victories in 2025.

Edwards begins his sophomore season at Farmer City Raceway's Illini 100 from April 10-12. Having spent 2024 learning the nuances of national Midget racing, both driver and team are positioned for improved performance throughout the 2025 campaign.
