Tyler Reddick's strong second-place finish at the 2025 Daytona 500 marked his best-ever performance at the iconic race, significantly improving upon his previous best of 27th in 2019 and 2021. Starting the final lap in 13th position, Reddick skillfully navigated through a major crash on the backstretch to secure the runner-up spot behind William Byron.

"Getting through Daytona on the lead lap and driving the car back to pit road was a win in itself," Reddick said. "Finishing second and getting good points makes it even better."

The 23XI Racing driver employed a strategic approach throughout the race, focusing on fuel conservation and positioning. Despite not leading in the early stages, the team's patience paid off in the chaotic finish. Reddick's calculated decision to hang back proved crucial when multiple crashes occurred in the closing laps.

Looking ahead to Atlanta, Reddick sees potential for success based on his previous performances at the track. In 2023, he showed strong pace and nearly captured victory. He emphasizes that Atlanta presents unique challenges, combining superspeedway racing with significant handling demands.

"Atlanta isn't quite like Daytona or Talladega," Reddick explained. "Handling comes into play almost every lap, making it uniquely challenging. With our team's current momentum and past success at this track, we know we have the capability to win if we bring a good handling car."

Currently sitting fourth in points, Reddick and 23XI Racing aim to maintain their strong start through the early season races, building on the team's impressive performance from last summer when they erased a 100-point deficit.
