World of Outlaws Late Models Series Set for Southern Spring Swing in March
The World of Outlaws Late Models Series is heading south for an exciting March schedule, following their season-opening events at Volusia Speedway Park. Two major southeastern venues await the Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet.

Sprint cars racing on dirt
Smoky Mountain Speedway - Tennessee Tipoff (March 14-15) The series kicks off at the newly renovated Smoky Mountain Speedway, now a 3/8-mile track. Local drivers have historically dominated here, with Tennessee natives Scott Bloomquist, Jimmy Owens, and Mike Marlar winning five of 11 World of Outlaws races. Current points leader Ryan Gustin won a recent Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series event at the track, while Brandon Overton and Ricky Thornton Jr. claimed victories in recent Mountain Moonshine Classic events.
Swainsboro Raceway - Battle at the Crossroads (March 21-22) The World of Outlaws returns to Swainsboro Raceway for the first time since 2012. This 3/8-mile oval in east Georgia has hosted notable winners including Tim McCreadie, Rick Eckert, and Chris Madden. Local favorites Brandon and Cody Overton have extensive experience here, with Brandon securing multiple series victories and Cody achieving numerous wins in Crate Late Model competition.
Previous winners at Swainsboro include established racers Dennis Erb Jr., Carson Ferguson, and Ashton Winger. The track's return to the World of Outlaws schedule promises intense competition between seasoned veterans and local talent.
All races will be broadcast live on DIRTVision for fans unable to attend in person.
