The Xpeng G6 is a new Chinese electric SUV targeting the Tesla Model Y market, available now in the UK from £39,990 - approximately £20,000 less than Tesla's updated Model Y.

The G6 comes in two variants: Standard Range and Long Range. The Standard Range features a 66kWh battery offering 270 miles of range, while the Long Range's 88kWh battery delivers 354 miles - just 20 miles less than the Tesla Model Y Long Range.

Both versions are rear-wheel drive, with the Standard Range producing 258hp (0-60mph in 6.6 seconds) and the Long Range offering 285hp (0-60mph in 6.2 seconds).

All models come generously equipped with:

The interior features premium materials and solid build quality. The responsive 14.6-inch touchscreen controls most vehicle functions, though physical climate controls are notably absent.

Exterior styling is modern and aerodynamic, with distinctive front and rear light bars. Color options include a limited-edition orange, along with standard white, silver, gray, and black options.

First deliveries are expected to begin in spring 2025. The only customization options are interior and exterior colors, with all features included as standard equipment.
