RCR Names Richard Boswell as Austin Dillon's New Crew Chief in Leadership Shuffle
Richard Childress Racing has announced significant personnel changes for the 2025 NASCAR season, focusing on strengthening its competitive position.
Richard Boswell will take over as crew chief for Austin Dillon's No. 3 Chevrolet team, moving from his previous role with Chase Briscoe at Stewart-Haas Racing. Boswell, whose father raced alongside Dale Earnhardt, expressed enthusiasm about joining the iconic No. 3 team.

The organization has also promoted Keith Rodden to vice president of competition from his interim competition director role. In this expanded position, Rodden will oversee performance, budgeting, and strategic partnerships.
John Klausmeier joins RCR as technical director from Stewart-Haas Racing. He will manage technical engineering, vehicle systems engineering, design, and metrology, with all competition departments reporting to him. Klausmeier will report directly to Rodden.
