Mack brings significant experience from his previous roles at Trackhouse Racing and Kaulig Racing, where he served as both crew chief for the No. 16 Cup Series team and technical director. His Cup Series career includes 156 races and one victory, achieved with Daniel Suarez at Sonoma Raceway in 2022.
"I'm looking forward to helping Legacy Motor Club build something great," said Mack, who previously worked with Jimmie Johnson at Hendrick Motorsports. "His vision for the Club is really exciting, and I'm ready to get to work."
Jacob Canter, SVP and Sporting Director for Legacy Motor Club, emphasized the strategic nature of the appointment: "As we continue to make changes and evolve on the competition side, the goal is to place the right people in the right places. We are thrilled to have a talent like Travis on board and look forward to seeing what he, Ben, and the engineering team can accomplish."
