The heavily camouflaged prototype showcases several design changes compared to the current model. The front features a lower bumper design for a more aggressive appearance, while the profile reveals a more coupe-like sloping roofline.

The rear styling incorporates a distinctive bootlid crease reminiscent of the Alfa Romeo Junior, complemented by a prominent roof spoiler. While the LED taillights remain concealed under camouflage, they're expected to feature a modern, sleek design.

Powertrain options will likely include mild hybrid petrol and full hybrid units, similar to the current generation. The decision to maintain combustion engines aligns with the recent UK ZEV mandate adjustments, allowing hybrid vehicle sales until 2035.

The new Renault Clio is expected to launch in 2027 with a starting price slightly higher than the current model's £19,000. It will compete directly with other popular hatchbacks like the Peugeot 208, Volkswagen Polo, and Toyota Yaris.
