Garrett Alberson captured his first World of Outlaws Late Models victory and a $20,000 prize at the DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals finale at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL.

The Las Cruces, NM driver started third behind Jimmy Owens and Jonathan Davenport. Alberson moved into second position on lap one and maintained pressure on race leader Owens throughout the early stages.

After multiple lead changes and intense battles, Alberson took control with eight laps remaining following a successful slider pass on Owens. A late caution set up a dramatic three-lap sprint to the finish, where Alberson held off challenges from Jonathan Davenport to secure the win.

The victory makes Alberson the 102nd different Feature winner in Series history and first from New Mexico. Jonathan Davenport finished second, while Max Blair rounded out the podium. Devin Moran charged from 15th to finish fourth, with Jimmy Owens completing the top five.
