
Alpine Confirms 2025 WEC Driver Lineup, Adds Gounon and Makowiecki
Paul-Loup Chatin, Charles Milesi, and Ferdinand Habsburg will pilot Alpine's No. 35 A424 Hypercar in the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship. The No. 36 sister car will be driven by Mick Schumacher, Jules Gounon, and Frédéric Makowiecki.

Gounon earns his promotion after a successful stint as reserve driver, having competed in half of last season's races. Makowiecki joins from Porsche Penske Motorsport, bringing extensive technical expertise and racing experience to the team.

Team Principal Philippe Sinault praised Gounon's technical contributions from his GT experience and Makowiecki's analytical approach and situational awareness. Former driver Nicolas Lapierre transitions to sporting director, while Matthieu Vaxiviere moves to reserve driver duties for the 2025 season.
