Jake Andreotti dominated the USAC West Midget season opener at Ventura Raceway, securing his fifth career USAC Western States Midget feature victory. Starting from fourth position, Andreotti executed a decisive pass on lap six, overtaking Dane Culver in turns three and four to lead the remaining 25 laps.

The Castro Valley, California native demonstrated exceptional skill throughout the 30-lap event, marking his first victory at Ventura since October 2021. His performance ties him with several notable drivers for 45th place all-time in series victories. Andreotti completed a remarkable double victory by also winning the USCS Sprint Car feature later that evening.
