BMW's next-generation iDrive showcases revolutionary multi-display setup featuring a panoramic dashboard interface spanning the car's full width. Set to debut in all new BMW models from late 2025, the system introduces three key innovations:
The central element is the "Panoramic Vision" display – a black strip at the windscreen base that projects 3D information in three customizable sections:
- Driver information above the steering wheel
- Two configurable zones for driving modes, entertainment, and communications
Interaction methods include:
- Touchscreen controls
- Voice commands
- New multi-function steering wheel with context-aware buttons that adapt to current functions
