
BMW's van der Linde Leads Second Sebring Practice with Blistering Lap
BMW's Sheldon van der Linde dominated the second practice session at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, setting the fastest lap time of 1m47.884s in the No. 25 M Hybrid V8.

Tom Blomqvist secured second place in the No. 60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing ARX-06 with a time of 1m47.998s. Porsche Penske Motorsport occupied third and fourth positions, with Matt Campbell's No. 6 and Daytona winner Felipe Nasr's No. 7 respectively.
In other categories, Mikkel Jensen led LMP2 in the No. 11 TDS Racing ORECA 07 with a 1m50.961s lap. Laurin Heinrich topped GTD PRO in the No. 77 AO Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R, breaking the two-minute barrier with 1m59.898s. Kenton Koch led GTD class in the No. 32 Korthoff Competition Motors Mercedes-AMG GT3 with a 2m00.300s time.
The session ended prematurely when Brendan Iribe's No. 70 Inception Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 spun into the tire barriers at turn 13, though he managed to drive back to the pits.
