
Bob Tasca III Claims No. 1 Spot in NHRA Arizona Nationals Qualifying at Firebird
Bob Tasca III claimed the top qualifying position at the 40th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals, posting an impressive 3.863-second run at 333.82 mph in his Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Mustang. This marks his 19th career No. 1 qualifier position.

In the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge, Ron Capps secured victory in Funny Car, defeating Matt Hagan with a 3.989-second run at 318.24 mph. Shawn Langdon dominated in Top Fuel, while Jeg Coughlin Jr. emerged victorious in Pro Stock.
Doug Kalitta earned his 60th career No. 1 qualifier in Top Fuel with a stellar 3.688-second pass at 330.09 mph in his SealMaster/Toyota dragster. Local favorite Matt Hartford maintained the Pro Stock top spot with Friday's 6.509-second run at 208.20 mph in his Total Seal Chevrolet Camaro.
