Circuit Breaker Failure Causes FOX Outage During IndyCar Race at Thermal
A failed circuit breaker at The Thermal Club forced FOX's broadcast of the IndyCar Grand Prix to go dark for approximately 15 minutes during Sunday's race. The outage affected both television and radio broadcasts, impacting domestic and international viewers from lap 31 through lap 42 of the 65-lap event.

With no content to air, FOX filled the gap with commercials before switching to the NASCAR Cup race at Homestead-Miami. While initial speculation pointed to the 90-degree Coachella Valley heat as the cause, IndyCar officials confirmed that a circuit breaker failure in the TV compound was responsible for the broadcast interruption.
The race eventually resumed broadcasting, with Chip Ganassi Racing's Alex Palou going on to claim victory.
