Brent Larson Confirms 2025 World of Outlaws Late Model Campaign
Brent Larson has announced plans to compete full-time with the World of Outlaws Late Models in 2025, marking his eighth consecutive season with the series. The Lake Elmo, Minnesota driver aims to eventually transition his racing seat to his son Matthew, who's already showing promise after finishing fifth in Crate Racin' USA Late Models at Charlotte.

For the 2025 season, Larson will tackle a 57-race schedule featuring several high-paying events in his home region, including:
- $75,000-to-win Dairyland Showdown at Mississippi Thunder Speedway
- $50,000-to-win NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 at Deer Creek Speedway
- $100,000-to-win USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway, where he's a five-time track champion
Coming off a 2024 season with six top-10 finishes and one top-5 result at Thunderhill Raceway, Larson aims to improve on his 12th-place points finish. He'll begin his 2025 campaign at the DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park, January 23-25.
"We're still having fun doing this," Larson said. "I think just the idea that there's a future beyond what I'm trying to do is the biggest thing for me. It's something my wife and I enjoy doing. We like going down the road together and making memories with our friends."
The team plans to address steering issues and chassis setup concerns during the off-season to better prepare for the upcoming year, with particular focus on qualifying performance and overall balance improvement.
