The CT525 engine offers impressive performance with over 540hp and 500 ft-lbs of peak torque. Priced at approximately $9,900 (excluding carburetor, exhaust, and front engine assembly), it presents a cost-effective alternative to traditional spec engines that now cost upwards of $35,000.

  • Weight requirement: 2,300 lbs for CT525-equipped Modifieds
  • RPM limit: 7,400
  • Engine life expectancy: 2-4 years (compared to 500-700 laps for PA/NJ spec-358 engines)
  • Engines must be purchased through and sealed by respective speedways
