
Cadillac Dominates Second WEC Prologue Session with 1-2 Finish
Cadillac dominated the second FIA WEC Prologue session at Qatar's Lusail International Circuit, securing the top two positions with their V-Series.Rs. Alex Lynn set the fastest time of 1m39.575s in the No. 12 car during a qualifying simulation on medium tires, significantly improving upon Robert Kubica's earlier session-leading time of 1m41.673s for AF Corse.
Sebastien Bourdais claimed second place in the No. 38 JOTA Cadillac with a time of 1m39.788s. The AF Corse Ferrari 499P, driven by Antonio Fuoco, completed the top three, just two-tenths off the pace.

Notable performances included:
- Penske Porsche No. 5 in fourth
- AF Corse 499P securing fifth
- Toyota placing eighth, ahead of both Peugeots
- Peugeot's impressive endurance runs, with the No. 93 completing consecutive 32 and 33-lap stints
In LMGT3, AKKODIS ASP maintained their dominance with the No. 87 Lexus RC F setting the fastest time of 1m54.959s, driven by Jose Maria Lopez. The No. 33 Corvette and Vista AF Corse Ferraris rounded out the top four positions.
A significant setback occurred for the No. 77 Proton Competition Ford Mustang LMGT3, which suffered a major fire during the afternoon session. The team aims to have the car ready for Free Practice 1 on Wednesday.
