Cory Kruseman Appointed Director of USAC West Coast Operations

Cory Kruseman, a 2023 National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee, has been appointed as Director of USAC West Coast operations. In this role, he will oversee United States Auto Club's racing activities throughout the western United States and handle special projects.

Kruseman brings extensive experience as both a driver and team owner, including:

  • 1999 Non-Wing World Sprint Car Championship
  • Chili Bowl Midget Nationals victories (2000, 2004)
  • USAC Indiana Sprint Week titles (2002, 2005)
  • 2006 USAC CRA Sprint Car championship
  • 2011 USAC Western States Midget championship
  • Over 100 sprint car feature wins

His primary objectives in the new role include:

  • Bridging gaps between racers, racetracks, and sponsors
  • Supporting the next generation of racers
  • Meeting with promoters and racers to understand their needs
  • Implementing new marketing strategies
  • Ensuring the sport's long-term sustainability

"I want to be somebody who can help bring everyone together and figure out what it's going to take to help the sport thrive into the future," says Kruseman, emphasizing his commitment to racing's future on the west coast.

The USAC leadership team also includes Tony Jones, who continues leading the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC CRA Sprint Car division, and Malyssa Young, heading the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC Western States Midget series.
