CRSA Sprints announces key rule changes for 2025 anniversary season, focusing on safety improvements and race format modifications.

Technical Updates:

  • Weight requirement increased to 1550 lbs (driver included)
  • Manual wing sliders remain mandatory
  • Fire suppression system recommended
  • World of Outlaws safety bars recommended
  • Titanium hardware allowed (under 1.125" diameter)
  • Added weights must be white, numbered, and secured with locking nuts and safety pin

Tire Regulations:

  • Hoosier HTC RD15 18" (35 Duro) permitted until August 1, 2025
  • Transition period begins August 1 allowing both tire types
  • HTC Med1 16" (46 Duro) becomes mandatory around September 1
  • No tire treatment allowed except siping, grooving, or grinding

Race Format Changes:

  • Pill draw starts at registration opening
  • Top 8 qualifiers eligible for redraw
  • New Elab Smokers Boutique Scramble Dash for positions 9-14
  • Double-file restarts implemented (trial basis for first four races)
  • After two failed restart attempts, switch to single-file format

Points System:

  • Full points awarded for all events through September 6
  • Show-up points only after September 6
  • No race drops for championship calculations
  • Mini-series maintain separate point structures

The series continues under CRSA sanction, welcoming IMCA/RaceSaver members to compete. 2025 marks CRSA Sprints' 20th anniversary season, supported by A-Verdi Storage Containers and numerous associate sponsors including Pit Stop Convenience Stores, DisBatch Brewing Company, and others.
