"At the time when we made this deal, there were a lot of unknowns – on performance mainly," Suarez explained. The driver remains focused on improving both his individual performance and the team's overall competitiveness.

Trackhouse Racing's recent performance history shows varying success. In 2022, the team secured three victories, including Suarez's first NASCAR Cup Series win at Sonoma Raceway. While 2023 saw fewer wins, Suarez managed to secure a victory in 2024 despite teammate Ross Chastain going winless.

Suarez emphasizes his ambition extends beyond occasional wins: "My goal is not to win one race a year. How can we bring Trackhouse to give a real fight to Penske, Hendrick, and Joe Gibbs Racing?"

The team's expansion includes signing 18-year-old Connor Zilisch to a development deal, who will make his Cup Series debut at Circuit of the Americas. Despite Trackhouse's growing driver roster, Suarez remains focused on his own performance objectives.

"Trackhouse has been nothing but great to me," Suarez affirmed. "We've been working together very hard to bring Trackhouse to the next level. We made a lot of progress in the offseason, and I believe we're heading in the right direction."
