Drake Troutman, the 2024 Rookie of the Year, finished second after an intense battle with defending series champion Ricky Thornton Jr. in the closing laps. Thornton settled for third, while Tim McCreadie and Brandon Overton completed the top five.

The 30-lap feature saw two early cautions in the first five laps, but ran caution-free for the final 24 laps. Thornton, in a new Longhorn Chassis, moved into second place on lap 18, passing Overton. Troutman used the high line to advance from his ninth starting position, creating an exciting three-way battle for the runner-up spot in the final laps.

"We've been really consistent. I'm just proud of my guys - they've done a good job for me," Davenport said in Victory Lane. His Double L Motorsports Longhorn Chassis, powered by a Clements Racing Engine, continued to show strong performance early in the season.

The top ten was rounded out by Daulton Wilson, Hudson O'Neal, Ross Robinson, Mark Whitener, and Max Blair. The race lasted 13 minutes and 39 seconds, with Davenport setting the fastest lap of the race on lap 5 with a time of 15.135 seconds.

This victory marks Davenport's fourth career win at Ocala and establishes him as the first driver in 2025 to lead every lap of a main event in the series. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series continues to provide intense competition and exciting racing action for dirt track fans across the country.
