Denney Dominates USAC Midget Season Opener at Kokomo
Jacob Denney secured a decisive victory in his debut race with Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports during the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship season opener at Kokomo Speedway. The Galloway, Ohio native became the sixth driver to win in their first USAC National Midget start for KKM.

Starting from fifth position, Denney quickly moved to second place on the first lap. He overtook race leader Kevin Thomas Jr. on lap 13 and maintained the lead for the remaining 18 circuits, despite a late-race incident with Hayden Reinbold that resulted in a restart.
The win marked Denney's fourth career series victory and his first since May 2023. He led teammate Cannon McIntosh, who finished second, while Daison Pursley completed the podium. Kale Drake advanced from 11th to finish fourth, earning Rod End Supply Hard Charger honors.
