
DIRTcar Champions Honored at Season-Ending Awards Banquet in Syracuse
DIRTcar celebrated its season-ending awards ceremony at the Marriott in downtown Syracuse, recognizing champions across multiple divisions.
Mat Williamson claimed the DIRTcar Series Modified Championship, followed by Matt Sheppard and Anthony Perrego. Felix Roy won the fan favorite award, while Alex Payne earned Rookie of the Year honors among the 18 platinum drivers.

Cody McPherson secured the DIRTcar Sportsman Series championship. Regional champions included:
- Central Region: Zach Sobotka
- West: Cody McPherson
- North: Shane Pecore
- East: Jason Gray

Felix Roy won the 358 Modified Series, with Lance Willix and Dave Marcuccilli finishing second and third respectively. Willix's impressive 2024 season included 7 wins, 17 top-five finishes, and 29 top-ten finishes across 38 events.

Pete Stefanski captured his fifth Pro Stock Series Championship, narrowly defeating Beau Ballard by eight points. Jocelyn Roy finished third.

The ceremony also honored Dave "Sparky" Dixon, who will retire on March 22, 2025, after 42 years of service to DIRTcar as their chief electrician. His final official duty will be at Volusia in February 2025.
