DIRTcar Racing Honors Jim Magill with Bob Memmer Award at 41st Annual Banquet
DIRTcar Racing celebrated its 41st season at the annual awards banquet in Springfield, IL, honoring national champions and special award recipients.

Jim Magill received the prestigious Bob Memmer Award for his outstanding dedication to DIRTcar Racing since 2006. As points coordinator and tech inspector, Magill maintains weekly division standings for nine racing classes. The award honors Bob Memmer's legacy, who founded UMP/DIRTcar in 1984.
Kyle Anderson of Crown Point, IN, earned the Lee J. Hall Sportsmanship Award for exemplary conduct and respect toward competitors. The award memorializes Stock Car driver Lee J. Hall.
Fairbury Speedway claimed Track of the Year honors for its exceptional racing entertainment, competitor participation, and special events. The 1/4-mile bullring, owned by Matt Curl, is known for its premium surface and hosts the World of Outlaws Late Model Series Prairie Dirt Classic.
Josh Carroll received Promoter of the Year for his work at Brownstown Bullring. Carroll improved the historic 1/4-mile oval and will take over Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in 2025.
