Kyle Dingwall and Steve Polite Join Forces for 2025 Brockville Championship Bid
DIRTcar Racing veteran Kyle Dingwall and experienced car owner Steve Polite are joining forces for a championship run at Brockville Ontario Speedway in 2025. This partnership brings together two accomplished figures in local racing, each with multiple wins and track championships to their credit.

The collaboration follows the amicable departure of Matt Billings from Polite's team, as Billings returns to Sprint Car competition. Billings had a successful 2024 season in the Polite Sand and Gravel #1 car, securing a win and seven top-10 finishes in eight starts.
Dingwall, the 2012 track champion, demonstrated strong performance in 2024 with his #66 machine, collecting two wins and finishing third in points with impressive consistency - six top-5s and ten top-10s in eleven starts. While the team's car number remains undecided, Dingwall will maintain his #66 car for major regional events.
The technical partnership includes Mike Blok engines in Polite's car, while Dingwall's #66 will continue with Yves Lafrance power plants. Dingwall's career achievements include:
- 7 Sportsman division wins
- 2004 Sportsman track championship
- 22 Modified division wins (10th all-time)
- 2012 358 Modified track championship
Polite's success as a car owner includes:
- Kenny Polite's DIRTcar Sportsman victory
- Back-to-back Vintage championships (2018-2019)
- Randy Gaudet's 2024 Eastern Ontario Vintage Club Championship
- Danny O'Brien's historic 100th and 101st DIRTcar 358 Modified wins
The team eagerly awaits the release of the 2025 Brockville Ontario Speedway schedule as they prepare for their championship campaign.
