Dustin Sorensen has earned the 2024 MD3 Rookie of the Year award with the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models. The 24-year-old from Rochester, MN, joins an elite group of past winners including Nick Hoffman, Tanner English, and Tim McCreadie.

With a strong rookie season, Sorensen achieved five top-fives and 15 top-10s, finishing 10th in the championship standings. His success follows impressive achievements in Modified racing, where he won both the 2021 USRA Modified and 2022 USMTS national championships.

• Leading 32 laps at Brownstown before finishing second
• A strong third-place showing at the USA Nationals
• Climbing from 12th to third at Boothill Speedway

• Cedar Lake Speedway's $100,000-to-win USA Nationals
• Boothill Speedway's $50,000-to-win Bayou Classic

Sorensen will begin his 2025 campaign at Volusia Speedway Park for the DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals, January 23-25, with renewed confidence and experience from his rookie season.
