Kyle Larson Finally Conquers Merced in USAC Midget Victory
Kyle Larson secured his first USAC National Midget win of 2024 at Merced Speedway, breaking his previous drought at the California track. The victory marked his fourth win in five USAC series appearances since 2023.

Starting from third position, Larson chased down Logan Seavey mid-race and took the lead on lap 14 of the 30-lap feature. Despite pressure from Buddy Kofoid in the closing laps, Larson maintained control to win by 0.791 seconds.
The victory adds Merced to Larson's impressive California track record, joining his previous USAC Midget wins at Placerville (4), Ventura (3), Bakersfield (1), and Perris (1).
