EVgo Launches Autocharge+ for Seamless EV Charging Across Network
EVgo Autocharge+ is a new feature that enables automatic charging initiation for compatible electric vehicles across the EVgo network. Simply plug in your EV, and charging begins without additional steps – no cards or app interactions required.
How Autocharge+ Works
EVs with CCS connectors send a unique identifier to EVgo's charging stations, automatically linking charging sessions to your account. This streamlines the charging process, giving you more time for other activities while your vehicle charges.

Autocharge+ works with most CCS-equipped EVs, including:
- Cadillac LYRIQ
- Chevrolet Bolt EV/EUV
- Ford Mach-E and F-150 Lightning
- Genesis GV60, GV70, G80 Electrified
- Hyundai IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, Kona
- Kia EV6, Niro
- Mercedes EQS, EQB, EQE
- Polestar 2
- Tesla Models (with CCS adapter)
