Correa will drive the No.2 United Autosports ORECA 07 alongside Nick Boulle and Ben Hanley for the remainder of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup. The European Le Mans Series LMP2 race winner brings significant experience from 68 FIA Formula 2 Championship starts between 2019 and 2024.

His sports car racing credentials include six LMP2 starts for PREMA Racing in both European Le Mans Series and FIA World Endurance Championship from 2022-23. Notable achievements include winning the 2022 ELMS 4 Hours of Portimaõ and completing his first Le Mans race in 2023, finishing 16th in class.

"I'm thrilled to be back racing stateside after an extended period in Europe," said Correa. "IMSA has been on my radar for a while, and I'm confident we will find shared success."

United Autosports CEO Richard Dean expressed enthusiasm about the signing, noting Correa's proven success in endurance racing. The team enters Sebring following mixed results at Daytona, where their No. 2 ORECA suffered a race-ending multi-car accident, while their No. 22 car secured victory after Tower Motorsports' disqualification.

Prior to this IMSA opportunity, Correa's most recent racing activity included testing a Super Formula car at Suzuka Circuit in December.
