Lynn, the designated Michelin Endurance Cup driver who previously won Sebring in 2017 and 2022, missed both the Daytona race due to illness and February's Sebring Sanctioned Test. Following Deletraz's accident that left WTR with only one operational car, the team needed to make adjustments to their driver lineup.
Wayne Taylor Racing confirmed that Lynn will focus on his FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) commitments with Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, with his next scheduled WTR appearance at the season-ending Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
Hartley, a four-time FIA World Endurance Champion, brings significant experience to the role. He recently finished fifth at Daytona in the No.10 WTR Cadillac and achieved the same position in the WEC opener in Qatar with Toyota Gazoo Racing. His previous Sebring performances include a third-place finish in 2019 with Action Express Racing and fifth place in 2024 driving the No.10 WTRAndretti Acura ARX-06.
The official entry list for the 12 Hours of Sebring will be released later this week.
