Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur commends Carlos Sainz for his exceptional professionalism during his final season with the team, following the announcement of Lewis Hamilton's signing for 2025.

Despite knowing about his upcoming replacement, Sainz maintained an impressive level of dedication throughout the 2024 season. Vasseur particularly praised the Spaniard's ability to remain focused while negotiating with other teams for his future.

Vasseur emphasized the team's continuous development approach, noting how different departments simultaneously work on current strategy, 2025 plans, and 2026 projects. He specifically requested everyone, including Sainz, to maintain their focus on 2024 until its conclusion.

Following the team's narrow miss of the constructors' championship in Abu Dhabi, Vasseur has shifted his attention to 2025. He expressed optimism about Ferrari's future, citing improved team dynamics and a collective desire for better performance.

While Sainz has already begun testing with Williams at Yas Marina Circuit, Ferrari must wait to integrate Hamilton, who is currently fulfilling his farewell commitments with Mercedes and its sponsors.
