The winning No. 50 team executed an effective tire strategy, running Michelin hards on the left and mediums on the right. Despite an early spin from contact with the No. 15 WRT BMW, they recovered to take control of the race with just over four hours remaining. The victory was secured after a tense final pit stop sequence, with Fuoco managing worn tires to win by 2.3 seconds.

The privately-entered No. 83 AF Corse Ferrari, driven by Yifei Ye, Phil Hanson, and Robert Kubica, claimed second place. The No. 51 factory Ferrari completed the podium sweep despite two drive-through penalties.

Notable performances:

  • WRT BMW finished fourth despite early setbacks
  • Toyota claimed fifth and sixth positions
  • Cadillac suffered from a dramatic teammate collision
  • Porsche struggled with both cars finishing outside the top 9
  • Aston Martin's WEC debut proved challenging

In LMGT3, TF Sport's Corvette Z06 GT3.R secured victory from 13th on the grid. Daniel Juncadella, Ben Keating, and Jonny Edgar triumphed after a defensive masterclass against the United Autosports McLaren, marking the Z06 GT3's first WEC win.
