Former Porsche factory driver Gianmaria Bruni will join JDC-Miller MotorSports for the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, partnering with Tijmen van der Helm in the No.85 Porsche 963.

For the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the duo will be joined by Formula E World Champion Pascal Wehrlein and Indy NXT driver Bryce Aron. Despite no longer being a factory driver, Bruni maintains his connection with Porsche through this role.

Bruni has already familiarized himself with the team during November's Daytona tests. His impressive credentials include winning the LMP2 class at the 2023 Rolex 24 at Daytona with Proton Competition. He replaces the retired Richard Westbrook at JDC-Miller, joining a team that secured its first GTP podium at Indianapolis last September.

"I am very happy to be joining JDC-Miller MotorSports," said Bruni. "I am very motivated and expect to see great results throughout the entire IMSA championship."

JDC-Miller Managing Partner John Church expressed enthusiasm about the signing: "Gimmi's impressive track record and deep understanding of sports car racing speak for themselves. We believe his experience and skill will be instrumental in our pursuit of success."

The announcement clarifies earlier confusion from the provisional Rolex 24 entry list, which had incorrectly listed Bruni with Proton Competition. This clerical error is expected to be corrected in a future IMSA bulletin.
