General Motors and EVgo have reached a significant milestone by installing their 2,000th public EV charging stall in Murrieta, California. This achievement aligns with GM's September commitment to deploy 2,850 DC fast-charging stalls by the end of the year.

The partnership between GM and EVgo focuses on expanding accessible fast-charging infrastructure across the United States. This latest installation marks substantial progress toward their goal, with over 70% of the planned charging network now complete.

These DC fast-charging stalls are strategically placed in metropolitan areas and along major highway corridors, making electric vehicle charging more convenient for drivers. The network supports various EV models and helps address one of the primary concerns for potential EV adopters: charging accessibility.

The completion of the 2,000th stall demonstrates GM's commitment to accelerating EV adoption and building reliable charging infrastructure. As the network continues to grow, it will play a crucial role in supporting the increasing number of electric vehicles on American roads.

The remaining charging stalls are expected to be installed in the coming months, further strengthening the nationwide charging network and supporting GM's broader electrification strategy.
