GM Bolsters Cadillac Racing Team with Key Leadership Appointments
GM Motorsports has announced key leadership changes for Cadillac Racing's prototype racing programs, strengthening their commitment to global motorsports initiatives.

The new appointments include:
- Keely Bosn as Program Manager, overseeing IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship programs
- Xavier Marcos Padros as Technical Director, managing engineering, car performance, and development
- Sean O'Shea as Propulsion Manager, focusing on the 5.5-liter Cadillac V8 engine and spec electric motor component
Padros brings Formula 1 experience as a race engineer from Scuderia Ferrari, where he worked with Charles Leclerc. His background includes roles at HRT, Williams, and as chief race engineer for Richard Childress Racing in NASCAR Cup Series (2015-2017).
O'Shea's expertise spans from Bosch Motorsport and Mazda's 'Go Diesel' program to GM's advanced military applications and the Chevrolet Blazer EV police vehicle development.
These strategic appointments demonstrate GM's increased investment in motorsports, which they view as a crucial platform for enhancing engineering capabilities and leadership skills in a competitive environment.
