This marks WTR's second full GTD season, following a successful 2024 campaign that included a pole position and four top-10 finishes. The team's partnership with Lamborghini Squadra Corse has yielded 14 championship titles in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America.

Hindman, a former Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals Champion and 2019 GTD champion, returns to WTR after previously winning the 2017 LSTNA PRO/AM drivers' title with the team. Formal, entering his sophomore season, secured the team's first GTD pole position at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in 2024.

"For me, this a long-awaited reunion with a team I've shared success with in the past," said Hindman, while Formal added, "In the second season, our sophomore season, it's going to be a great one – I can already tell."

Team owner Wayne Taylor expressed enthusiasm about the lineup, highlighting the return of Formal and Hindman's reunion with the team. The squad will debut at the Roar Before the 24 on January 17-19, followed by the Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 23-26.
