Historic Sebring 12 Hour Classic Returns with Rare WWII Warhawk Display
A dual celebration of motorsports and military aviation heritage returns to Sebring International Raceway December 4-8 with the Mission Foods HSR Classic 12 Hour, Pistons & Props event, now in its ninth year.
The event combines vintage sports car racing with a showcase of historic military aircraft at the legendary airport road course, honoring both the 12 Hours of Sebring and Hendricks Field's World War II legacy.

This year's highlight is the Curtiss P-40N-1 Warhawk, owned by Tim and Job "Jib" Savage. Built in 1943, this fighter-bomber has a remarkable history, including service in the Pacific during WWII and a 57-year stay in New Guinea before its restoration.

On the racing front, Pierce Marshall and Eric Foss seek to make history in their Matador Motorsports No. 02 Cadillac DPi. Having already won at Daytona and Watkins Glen this year, they could become the first team to win all three HSR Classic races in a single season.
