
Historic Sebring Classic 12 Hour Draws Record-Breaking 260+ Entries
A record-breaking 260+ entries have been confirmed for the HSR Sebring Classic 12 Hour, making it the largest season-opening field at Sebring and the biggest Classic 12 Hour event this decade. The race weekend runs March 6-9 at Sebring International Raceway.

Race cars compete at Sebring circuit
This year marks a significant change as the event moves from its traditional December slot to become the season opener, creating a two-week motorsports celebration leading into the 73rd Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.
The event also launches the new HSR Classic Endurance Championship presented by Mission Foods, the first major U.S. endurance racing championship for vintage and historic sports cars. The championship includes races at:
- Sebring International Raceway
- Watkins Glen International
- Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
- Daytona International Speedway
The Classic 12 Hour format features:
- Four period-correct Run Groups
- Three successive track sessions on Saturday
- Final rounds on Sunday to determine overall winners
- Additional HSR Sebring Historics races
New for 2025:
- Expanded HSR Prototype Challenge with four classes (LMP1, DPi, DP, PC, and LMP3)
- Full-season HSR NASCAR Classic series for retired modern stock cars
The weekend includes races for multiple series:
- WeatherTech Sprint
- Sasco Sports International/American Challenge
- HSR Global GT
- B.R.M. Endurance Challenge
All competing vehicles are vintage and historic race cars recently retired from contemporary competition, providing fans with a unique opportunity to see legendary machines in action.
