The newly formed Daming Swanson Motorsports, co-owned by Jake Swanson and supported by Doug Dougherty of Dougherty Motorsports, will compete in the full USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship schedule. The team will utilize DRC Chassis exclusively and feature cutting-edge 1-Way Technologies engines.

"We've always dreamed of building a program capable of competing in the full USAC National Sprint Car season," said Swanson. "Having Doug Dougherty on board and his support through Dougherty Motorsports is the final piece of the puzzle."

The partnership brings together Swanson's proven racing expertise with Dougherty's extensive setup knowledge and technical support. This combination positions the team for strong competitive performance throughout the 2025 season.

The team's formation carries special significance as it honors the memory of Joe Daming, the original team owner who passed away in March 2024. Swanson emphasized, "Joe was more than just a team owner; he was a dear friend, and the heart of this program. This team will race in his memory."

The 2025 campaign will begin at Ocala Speedway in February. The team is currently seeking additional partnerships and sponsorship opportunities, offering comprehensive marketing exposure through race car branding, hauler visibility, team apparel, and social media presence.
