Sprint car racer Jeff Halligan is preparing for the 2025 season in Central Pennsylvania. Starting strong at the Icebreaker 30, Halligan secured a 6th place finish after winning his heat race and briefly running in podium position.

His second race on March 9th proved more challenging. Starting 15th in the A-Main, he advanced into the top 10 before sustaining damage that resulted in a 14th place finish.

For 2025, Halligan's focus is on preparation rather than specific performance targets. The 30-year-old Ephrata native plans to run the complete Port Royal Speedway schedule while also competing at other regional tracks including Lincoln Speedway and Williams Grove.

With over 25 years of racing experience, Halligan successfully competed in 358 sprint cars from 2014 through mid-2019 before moving up to 410 sprint cars. He currently drives the No.45 Jeff Halligan Racing sprint car.

The team heads to Lincoln Speedway on March 15th and Williams Grove on March 16th, weather permitting, before the Port Royal Speedway season opener the following weekend.
