Driving the No. 40 Chevrolet sponsored by Traveller Whiskey, Allgaier finished ninth in the first qualifying duel, outperforming fellow Open driver JJ Yeley.

The final laps proved intense as Allgaier maintained position in the third lane, supported by Chevrolet drivers Michael McDowell and AJ Allmendinger. Despite a tense moment on the backstretch when Ty Dillon moved to the outside lane, Allgaier successfully crossed the finish line.
