Justin Grant clinched his record-extending eighth USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship victory at Ocala Speedway during Winter Dirt Games XVI. The victory marked Grant's first of the 2025 season and his 55th career win, placing him just seven wins behind all-time leader Dave Darland's 62.

Starting from sixth position, Grant made his winning move with five laps remaining, using lapped traffic to pass race leader Daison Pursley. His extensive experience at Ocala Speedway, where he's started all 38 USAC National Sprint Car features since 2011, proved crucial in securing the win.

Earlier in the evening, Grant tied Rich Vogler's record with his 35th career USAC National Sprint Car Fast Qualifying time. Kyle Cummins finished second, with Pursley taking third. Both drivers have maintained podium finishes in all three 2025 USAC National Sprint Car features to date.

Notable performances included:

• Jadon Rogers advancing from last place to finish 13th, earning hard charger honors
• Tom Harris matching his career-best USAC finish in seventh place
• Kyle Cummins leading the championship standings with 233 points

The Winter Dirt Games XVI continues at Ocala Speedway with three more races scheduled for February 13-15, 2025.

The 30-lap feature saw multiple lead changes and cautions, with Grant ultimately securing a commanding 1.482-second victory over Cummins. His tactical approach in managing lapped traffic and track conditions demonstrated why he's earned the unofficial title of "Mr. Ocala."
